Required Hours and Grade Point Average for Graduation

Students must complete 120 hours to graduate. Student must have a minimum cumulative 2.00 GPA. They must also have a minimum cumulative 2.00 GPA in their Core Curriculum.
Most departments require a minimum 2.00 GPA in their major(s) and minor(s). Students must check with their department(s) for policy on the minimum GPA in the major and/or minor.
Students must file an application for their degree before the assigned dates: the first week in October for degrees to be awarded in May; the first week in April for degrees to be awarded in January.
Required Hours in Residence Needed for Graduation
In-residence hours refers to the course credit hours taken at »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ, the Rome Center, or taken from any of the »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ sponsored study abroad programs through the Office for International Programs.
Students must take their final, uninterrupted 45 hours of instruction or a minimum of 60 hours in residence at »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ Chicago.
